Was sexually harassed online?
I was told vocally and also through text to go to the persons house to perform oral sex, violently he told me I would be forced to. I have screen shots of the text, and also the persons ID on valve.
He was sexually harassing other woman, and I want to contact my lawyer; but how do I go about obtaining the persons IP address. I have the information, but I do not think the company will give me his IP address.
Can I file a small claim towards the Company? how can I go about obtaining this information first? Just some ideas, I want to be able to approach my lawyer and ask these questions in a very specific way
The chances of you being able to actually take this to court are nill. Different states have different laws concerning online penalties and even if it were in the same state the chances of it going to court are nill because you are in no immediate harm and harassment over the net is damn near impossible to punish. Better not waste your money and just stay away from the guy giving you grief both on the net and in real life.
