Swing Arm
I would like to install a swing arm from my 01 tl1000R onto my 04 ninja?
I have an 04 250 ninja that i would like to put a wider rear tire from my 01 TL1000R. I thanking of having the swing arms cut and welded to accommodate the 01 wider wheel
Sell the 250 and get a larger bike. Changing the rear tire size will change the suspension dynamics of the entire bike and usually in a bad way. If you’re dead set on doing this though I would at least use a Kawasaki swing arm as parts interchangeability between models is usually better than between brands. Head on over to Kawasaki forums and you will find ninja 250 experts who have “been there done that” and will give you all the advice you need to decide if this is the best course of action. remember the TL1000 swing arm and wheel are heavier than the ninja ones so it’s actually gonna make it slower. What it all comes down to is are you doing this for looks or performance?
