is this a good or decent staple and nail gun?

i wanted to make a canvas but for that i need a staple gun to staple the canvas to the stretcher and need a nail gun or nail in the corners and supports. i was wondering is this a good staple and nail gun? have any of you guys used this before? does it work like every other nail/staple gun? im on a budget and wont want to buy expensive things.

I have one and use it, but it fires short nails and rather blunt staples and is not as functional as it would appear from putting the hand pressure over staple/nail. I have used it when working alone to apply nails through panels being glued to frames and with attention it will put the nails flush, but any loss of pressure and the heads stand proud and have to be hammered flush – which works okay for me since I don’t have to hold each nail to hit with hammer. I am using 1/8″ wall paneling and soft pine frame wood and harder material.
I think a traditionally shaped stapler where pushing down on the nose is separate from squeezing to fire the staple will work better than this one which seems to bounce while pushing down. When I use it, especially on harder wood, I have to go back and hammer the staples and that would not work with trying to tighten canvas.
