Can someone please explain the physics of a spring loaded dart gun?
Some links or explanation on the PE, ME, and KE of a spring loaded dart gun would be greatly appreciated.
PE of the spring = (1/2) k x^2 where k is the spring constant in N/m and x is the distance that the spring is compressed from its relaxed position.
KE = 1/2 m v^2 where m and v are mass and velocity of the dart.
If you neglect friction losses, PE + KE = constant
