We have a lot of snow & want to go sledding, what type of sled is best ?
or do you like tubes the best ?
Some like riding tubes, but I remember as a kid we had those sleds with runners, and we could steer them.
WHAT DO YOU THINK IS BEST ?
A Toboggan is great! They really move! As kids we had what was called a “traverse”. It was about 12 feet long. It had runners in the front that could be moved to steer and back runners were stationary and they guy up front steered and the guy in back was the “brakeman”. It was only about 12 inches wide and all us kids sat in a line on it. It would hold about 8 kids. with all that weight it would really go like heck, but it was also dangerous too. Man, I miss those days.
