using a shop light to check a battery leak in a chevy?
In continuation with my last question sorry. What kind of shop light do you use to check for a draw in a cars electrical system. I am familiar with the one you plug in the socket, is this the same kind?
Here’s a clear procedure for using the test light to measure excessive “parasitic” current draw from your battery. However, you can easily learn how to use a Digital Multi-Meter (DMM) set to the 10 Amp scale for a much more accurate test. The same DMM (Sears, $15) can also check the battery voltage and charging voltage as well as resistances etc.
