Another grip installation question…?
Okay, since the last question i posted I have purchased a new pair of grips and am ready to put the left grip on the handle bar which i already have removed since it is being replaced as well (note: on my bike the handle bar is composed of a left and right piece as opposed to being one combined segment). When i bought the glue and grips at the dealer i was told to place the glue on the inner rim of the grip and to twist as i pushed it on, but on the glue instructions it says to evenly put it on the bar itself as well as on the inside of the grip so im not sure which i should do….also when replacing the throttle grip the glue instructions state to remove the entire bar prior to installing the grip…is this absolutely necessary or can i get by without the removal of it because removing the left handlebar for its replacement was a hassle in itself and the less work i have to do the better.

hmm…ive never glued any of mine!…
anyway,warm the grips,but remember when putting them on NOT to pull them on as they tighten up…me i ”push then on”,and twist at the same time.
its not necessary to remove the throttle tube.
