The Coats 5040A Rim Clamp Tire Changer Review

Its Coats 1.5 hp motor, or air model, helps to smoothly install the performance tire beads without damaging anything at the same time. It has a very powerful bead loosener that has three support blocks and a sculpted blade that will make quick work of even the most troublesome and stubborn tires out there.
Its smooth and user friendly operation will provide technicians with faster floor to floor times and even “on times” as well. This things performance is legendary. The Coats 5040A rim clamp tire changer platform has very well become the leading standard in the industry for speed, durability and of course its ease of use. It has optional bead loosener socks, clamp booties, and a lift tool protection that is in place to prevent all metal to metal contact that causes the scratching and damaging. The Coats 5040A tire changer has wheel capabilities in steel wheels, many alloy wheels and some performance application wheels. Its tool head offset adjustment has a spring assisted lift, a manual set back and a lock. The shape of its tabletop is “X” shaped to give it a rigid perimeter support of the wheel for the technician. It has a wheel clamping method that is foot control with a actuating cylinder that handles all wheels up to 10 and a half inch wide. It’s a great modern day tire changer.
