San Antonio Bay, Ibiza

Week itinerary for your San Antonio Bay holiday:

Need some inspiration for your Ibiza holidays? The beautiful resort of San Antonio Bay has a laid back, friendly atmosphere, beautiful beaches and plenty of things to do.

Sit back, relax and soak up some warm Mediterranean sun on the first few days of your Ibiza holiday. The beauty of San Antonio Bay is its 5 beaches all in walking distance of each other, so you’ll never be far from the beach. When you’ve finished sunbathing or sipping cold drinks in one of the great beachside bars, burn off some energy trying out some of the fantastic water sports. If you’d rather spend the day on the water rather than in it, boat trips make a great day out. Ferries run to other nearby beaches, or you can hire a boat or join an excursion around the island.

When you’re ready to head ashore, you’ll still find plenty of activities beyond the beach. San Antonio bay is well suited for family holidays and you’ll find plenty of play parks for young and older children. A fun fair runs in there too, so parents can sit back and relax and watch the kids have fun. The aquarium is just a short walk from the bay and makes a great family day out. The centre cares for injured fish and if you’re lucky you might be able to see some turtles.

It’s not just about daytimes though. Don’t miss the famous Ibiza sunsets while you’re there. You can still get fantastic views from the bay, but it’s just a short walk to the infamous sunset strip in nearby San Antonio. Nightlife in San Antonia Bay is fairly relaxed, but keen clubbers amongst you shouldn’t miss out on a night out in San Antonio.

With so many things to do, the only thing you will have to worry about is being spoilt for choice.

How to get deals in San Antonio Bay

Ibiza holidays are often renowned for being expensive, especially if you want to be part of the clubbing scene. Before you start to panic that you’re going to spend a fortune, it doesn’t have to be this way. Follow these great tips and you can be sure to have a cheap holiday.

First things first, money itself is the biggest consideration on your cheap San Antonio Bay holiday. The airport and hotels are often the most expensive places to change currency, so make sure you plan ahead and sort out your currency before you go. Another important thing to note is that many cash points charge you every time you withdraw money, so try to avoid them as much as possible if you don’t want to eat into your funds.

Eating out is often the biggest expense on any holiday and there are a few things you can do to make sure you save some extra money. Many hotels offer all inclusive deals which covers everything from meals to alcohol. Choosing all inclusive deals means everything is paid up front, making it easier to budget for your cheap San Antonio Bay holiday. Most hotels offer all inclusive packages for a fraction more than bed and breakfast prices, so it’s definitely worth looking into. If you are going to choose to eat out, restaurant prices in San Antonio town are much cheaper than those in the Bay area as they cater for the mass tourists.

When it comes to going out, club tickets can be very expensive. Whilst online tickets are set at a fixed price, when you arrive on the island you can often find great deals on tickets which often include free drinks or discounts. Booking tickets in large groups is usually a great way to save money too. Alcohol can be very expensive, so have a few drinks in the hotel before (take advantage of that all inclusive deal) or look for bars with happy hours.

Now you know it’s possible to have cheap Ibiza holidays, you just have to know how to find great deals.

Restaurants in San Antonio Bay:

San Antonio Bay holidays have a great mix of restaurants, from cheap’n'cheerful to something a little more special. So if you just fancy a night away from the hotel or want a special meal out, you will be sure to find something to suit you on your holiday.

If you’d like to try some of the local food on your holiday you won’t be disappointed. Sa Soca restaurant serves traditional Ibizan family favourites as well as classic Spanish food like Tapas and paella. Enjoy the local catch of the day with fantastic sea views in Sa Punta d’es Moli, the local’s favourite restaurant.

Take a trip round the world on your holiday, with restaurants serving cuisine for every country you can think of. Enjoy a taste of Italy in Venice restaurant, known for its great pizzas, or an Asian experience in the Double Dragon Chinese restaurant.
