A myth about Porcelain that it is fragile or delicate was common in those days. Nonetheless, with changing time and the uses of porcelain have widened, and gradually firmed its foot to be a valuable material in diverse fields.
Dental treatment is one of such field which has extensively used Porcelain for dental veneers and dental prosthesis. At present, porcelain is counted as one of the prime industrial elements utilised for insulation as this material is highly resistant to abrasion, impervious to heat, and is non-porous material. This is the reason why porcelain is best considered for flooring for both commercial and residential purposes.
Often while choosing tiles people get confused with the terms “ceramic tiles” and “non-porcelain”. Technically speaking porcelain is a sort of ceramic ware but is more improved than ceramic. Because porcelain tiles are hard, non-porous, and absorb very minimal water, they can be utilised anywhere you want. Comparing porcelain tiles with ceramic, porcelains are highly durable as they can stand firm against abrasions. Porcelain tiles are perfect for any weather condition as they can withstand freezing temperatures during winter and heat exposure during the summer too.
