Why was my friend acting so obnoxious and childish during the car ride home?
Today my bridesmaids, MOH and I all went out dress shopping, then decided to catch a movie and dinner. We had a blast. Everyone was getting along, laughing, talking and being goofy.
On the car ride home, I was showing one of my friends (who was sitting in the backseat) a new nailpolish I had just bought. She took it, then wouldn’t give it back.
At first I thought it was funny, then I started getting annoyed because she kept insisting I hadn’t given her polish.
Then she was like, “You better stop yelling at me like you know me” and getting an attitude with me. I couldn’t tell if she was being serious or messing around.
Finally, I was like, ‘Whatever” and turned around. She threw the nail polish in my lap.
So I turned off the song she was singing to on the radio and she started poking me really hard from the backseat.
Umm, please don’t take this the wrong way, but how old are you guys? The last time I behaved like that was when I was a teenager. I am thinking some jealousy is probably sinking in (on her part) or maybe she feels like she is losing her best friend due to her getting married and therefore she is trying to get your attention (even if only to fight).
