A short sale on my credit report: How many points will lower my credit score?
What impact will a short sale your credit score? The correct answer is it depends. Your credit score is calculated using a complex formula that seeks to understand the probability of not pay their debts. The "short" sale is unlikely to appear on your credit report. The number of points you lose your credit rating after a short sale is based on how your mortgage is closed and how closed account was reported to credit bureaus.
