Found military pin with blue white crest and star in circle, supply the lin on bottom?
I found a military (I think) pin in the middle of an abandoned orange grove in central florida. The pin appears to be of military issue. The top part of the crest is a star in a circle, with two divider lines on either side of it. The middle of the crest is made of two white diamonds that extend to the either side of the pin (having a rather squashed look), and the background behind them is blue. Across the bottom is imprinted “SUPPLY THE LINE” . On the back of the pin is printed “DENMARK, NY” D22. On further investigation, the dividers at the stars…the one on the left is colored white, the other is green.
Can anyone identify this?
I found it.

But then it occurred to me: do you have a VFW or American Legion near you? Maybe you can call their office and ask if someone might be able to help you out.
Meanwhile, if you’re able to post a photo, I’ll check back on this question and would be happy to check a couple of those websites.
