Selecting the right PEX fittings for your job

For completing the task on hand easily you must select the right Pex fittings. Pex fittings are better than normal pipes such as copper and iron for various reasons. The crimping technique is normally used while working with pex plumbing. The three main tools required for this purpose includes the pipe cutter, the de-crimping tool and the primary crimping tool.  

The primary crimping tool is available in various configurations based on your specific requirement. While some of the tools can allow you to crimp ½ inch, others have may have the ability for ¾ inch pex tubing. You can also re-use the Pex fittings easily with the help of the de-crimping tool.  With the help of the pipe cutter you can make a neat square cure before inserting the tube inside the fitting.

Pex fittings are mostly manufactured using brass materials, although some dealers make use of artificially designed plastic fittings, bronze or copper for pex plumbing.
