How Bristar Helps Landscaping and Demolishing
Demolition associated with landscaping construction work can be quite a time consuming and complex activity. Splitting boulders or clearing rocks is not an easy task, especially when the job requires excavating the rock wall or bedrock. They generally involve large breaking machines and explosives, which can be expensive, sometimes difficult to use, and leave a messy cleanup.
Bristar is a non-explosive demolition agent which is very different from your standard demolition agencts such as explosives. When used properly, it does not cause ans noise, gas, flyrock, ground vibration, dust or any other environmental pollution. This is very useful when safety standards in excavation need to be at the highest level.
Furthermore, during the demolishing of reinforced concrete or rock, there is often a need to perform these tasks in very tight quarters. Using explosives or explosive agents to perform this kind of demolition is very restricted since there are problems with environmental pollution and also safety when in tight quarters. Large machinery is also too large to fit into many spots, which means Bristar is really the only safe and effective option in these conditions.
Bristars flexibility and usefulness as a demolition agent is due to its behaviour. When mixed with a suitable quantity of water it hardens and expands. So if you add water to Bristar and then pour it into cylindrical holes which have been pre-drilled into the rocks or other items that you want to demolish, it hardens and expands, causing cracks in specific spots you have targeted. This
allows the material with cracks to be removed easily, using an excavator, pneumatic breaker or even a simple pick hammer.
When comparing Bristar to other demolition agents, it’s easy to see the difference across a number of important parameters. Explosives such as dynamite have very good breaking power, yet also result in noise, ground vibration, dust gas, fly rock and other safety issues. Concrete cracker explosives have slightly less noise and vibration produced, but still high levels of dust gas and their breaking power is slightly less too. A hydraulic splitter is very pollution free and strong breaking power, yet its cost is significantly higher, making it uneconomical for most budgets.
Bristar not only has high breaking power, coupled with low environmental pollution, but is also the most economical of all the demolition agents. This makes it the most viable option for boulder splitting, excavation of bedrock or rock wall, trenching, quarrying and shaft sinking. It is also ideal for demolishing mass concrete, retaining walls, piers, foundations and beams. With so many global issues today it’s important we use techniques that take the environment into consideration.
