Do I strip the ends of a CAT6 cable to install it to the keystone jack?
I noticed on the package they are not stripped, and I also noticed on a separate installation they are not stripped.
How does it make contact with the jack then?
yes you dont need to strip the wire.
it makes contact when you use the crimper. the crimper pushes down the terminals that cuts its way through the insulation of the wires.
so you should make sure that you press down the crimper well to make sure there is contact. you cant reuse these terminals once you crimped it.
