how caN I SUCCEED IN A BUSINESS, THAT IS SATURATED IN MY AREA?
WELL , IM A PAINTER, AND I ALSO dO WALLPAPER, AND NOW BATHTUB REGLAZING.. I WANT TO FIND A way to become sooo busy , that i can just purchase some trucks, ind dispatch the work for each crew…but how do i do this.. with all the competiton out there?.. i had climbed out of being homeless, and i am never going back to that.. i am goin to keep going forward.. i need some suggestions,great ideas very much welcomed.. at one point i was carrying my paint ,tools, and small ladder just to complete a job.. walking to each job..very ,very tiring.. please let me know your suggestions.
Find out what the competition is _not_ doing, or doing badly, and do that very well.
This can be many things. If there’s an area where most interior/exterior decorators won’t service, offer your services there. If there are places where it takes a long time to book a handyman, offer to be able to start and finish the job faster. If none of the painters work on weekends, or public holidays, or after hours, you can take advantage of that.
If they’re all very expensive, be cheap. If they’re all cheap, be the top-quality guy. If they’re rough, offer perfect manners. If they’re stuck-up, be the painter who’s easy to talk to. And so on.
