From the humble theories of Pascal’s Principle dawned the hydraulic jack and these principles continue to be applicable today.
While the Principle may now be several hundred years old, modern day technology has enabled development of the hydraulic jack to virtually create miracles and move items weighing up to several thousand tons without too much effort.
Your basic jack may be suitable for most, if not all of the domestic and car markets, when looking for industrial applications, the hydraulic jack needs to be somewhat more technical and obviously robust.
When looking at the industrial end of the market, these hydraulic jacks to be seriously strong and robust yet easily worked.

Hydraulic toe jacks for example are extremely versatile, with load capacities of up to 25,000kg. With low claw heights starting at just 12mm, they are well- adapted for moving some very heavy machinery or loads.
When needing to use a hydraulic jack in confined work areas, or lift using a number of jacks at the same time, the better option is probably using a hydraulic jack linked to an external pump.
For industries that need a hydraulic jack for use in a clean room environment such as in pharmaceutical or food industries, there are nickel plated jacks.
