Why is there so much going on with the year 2010-12?

To NASA and the suns solar flare storm. NASA said the sun has been calm… so it should be intensively active in about four years. I don’t know about you but, 2010-12 has been a very touchy number(s). With all this unbeliever facts about those years, is it safe to give them credit? It’s quite scary if you ask me… I hope people who are skeptics are indeed false.
