is fiber cement siding a good value?
should I choose it over vinyl siding?
Somewhat depends upon where you live.
Vinyl siding trim is the weak link in my opinion – there are many details that leave gaps where pests can get into. Around windows, corners, soffits, etc.
Negative # 2 – you better never want to see a different color.
Like any product the end result is only as good as the installation.
