Tighten Your Canvas Orbits with Heavy Duty Stretcher Frames
Canvas photo prints have become one of the most popular methods of showcasing digital images. The overall quality of these prints depends on the type of stretcher frames that are used to lay and attach the canvas. The main purpose of these frames is to uphold the canvas tight and perfect. After this step, your canvas photo prints can be mounted on any one of the frames available in the market.
It is important to use stretcher frames for the following reasons:

Stretcher frames are quite similar to regular artwork frames. Even they are made up of wood and are formed into a typically rectangular shape. Each frame contains four stretched bars. The corners of these frames are temporarily fixed to each other and can be easily detached. This is because of the material used for making these frames. Wood, because of varying levels of air moisture, is likely to expand or contract and thus temporarily attached corners allow enough space for the required movement in order to support the framed artwork’s structure.
Canvas prints can be attached to the stretched bars in a number of ways. You can make use of tracks to connect the prints to the bars, or even a staple gun can be used for achieving a similar effect. It is important to carefully attach the canvas to the bars, while making sure that the canvas is neither too taut nor too sagging. This is because the canvas surface is likely to get damaged in either of these circumstances.
Once the staples or tracks are in perfect place, you can make use of tightening key for adjusting the surface tension of the prints. This key is present at the sides of the stretcher bars. This key helps you to expand the size of the bars in order to generate tightness in the canvas.
