Benefits of using Hydraulic Bottle Jacks
Duff Norton hydraulic bottle jacks are fully tested to comply with ASME standards. These jacks offer excellent quality construction, practical design and high precision. It is these qualities that have earned them a reputation worldwide for reliability.
The Hydraulic jacks are made of welded construction making them light and durable. The unique base forging method increases resistance to high pressure and provides a degree of durability and performance unmatched by competitive products. Bottle Jacks are used in many industries and are widely used in the rail industry as they are not affected by extreme temperatures.
All models of hydraulic bottle jacks can be used in any position – upright, angled and horizontal. In addition, all models have common release stem and valve assemblies. Many additional parts are available and can be interchangeable between all models.
A wide range of hydraulic jacks are available including:
- Hydraulic mini jacks – these are compact, powerful jacks designed to be used in low-height applications. They are used for fine adjustment and centring. They are constructed form durable steel treated to prevent rust and corrosion. They can be adjusted to the best position for easy operation. The housing for the jack is welded to the base for greater strength and sealing.
- Hydraulic toe jacks – These are used in plant maintenance and railway applications. They are heavy duty, light weight and have an ergonomic handle allowing for ease of transport.
- 20 ton capacity low profile portable hydraulic jacks – These low profile units are ideal for jobs requiring power at low pick-up points. They are designed for use on large industrial and heavy equipment applications.
- 10 ton master kit – Designed for general repair and maintenance projects where 10 ton pushing, pulling or clamping force makes the difference between getting it done fast or tying up an operator and heavy equipment.
- 2 ton capacity hydraulic service jack – This has a removable handle for easy transportation and compact storage. This unit is sealed to keep out the grit, grime and moisture. The unit also has an automatic valve which prevents overloading.
