A diamond blade is a saw blade and it has diamonds fixed on the blade’s base to use them to cut hard or abrasive materials. By the method of manufacturing, they can either be prepared by sintering and know as sintered metal-bonded diamond blades. Other methods include electroplating, vacuum brazing, extruding etc…
In order to choose the right blade for your job, here are some tips:
1.For smaller jobs or occasional use, a low priced blade can be used, but for lager jobs or more frequent use, a higher priced blade should be considered.
2.Different diamond blades are used on different types of equipment, depending on the type and of the saw being used.
3.The material to be cut needs to be properly and correctly identified. The material should be matched to the blade as closely as possible.
4.When using concrete saws, wet cutting is preferred because one can cut deeper. On the hand, for power cutters, dry blades are more popular.
5.They also vary according to the types of stones that need to be cut.
