I am reluctant to ask this on here but please help – Self Harm Question?

Ok, I am reluctant to ask this but I s’pose I should I’m too afraid to tell anyone else.
I got over self harming before, but It’s gotten really bad again. My boyfriend helped me through it last time, but I’m afraid for my self, and my family.

I have been biting, burning, scratching and even punching and hiting myself with metal objects I even whipped my back with a metal chisel so badly it was all swollen and is still bruised now. I am scared for my life, I have been thinking about suicide, and have been thinking about making myself sick after eating, I’m scared to eat, and I just spend alot of my day hating myself, can you please name any help lines I could call? or suggest anything else I can do??
I am in counciling and have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow I am on 20mg of cytoplasm atm also.

First off….print this(what you said) out and bring it with you to your appointment tomorrow. That way you don’t leave any of your concerns out, and don’t have to worry about even saying it (sometimes bringing things up can be the hardest) …just have to hand it to them and tell them to read it.

Second…start journaling. First off, it can be very therapeutic….a lot of the emotions you get out by self harming can be expressed in the journal, and may not need the self harming…..what you say doesn’t have to be perfect, doesn’t have to even make sense…just express yourself. You can look back over things, see what your thought processes are like. And then, you can always bring that to your Dr or councilor if you have sections of that you think they should read.
