I don’t mind cofessing when I have done something just plain daft., do you ?
Hi Folks, here’s one for amusement purposes only
My mother has one of those rotating washing lines in her back garden.
It will probably never rotate again.
It sits in a metal pipe, with a concrete surround.
Ah, the concrete surround has come adrift a bit, I will mend it.
A bag of sand / cement mix and some water and a trowel, and away I go.
I did not wish the hole to get bunged up, so left the arrangement up.
It is now all rock-solid, and all well and truly stuck together
I will free it with a hammer and chisel soon, but it just made me giggle at my own foolishness
Do you happily admit your mistakes ?

Yes I just laugh about them now with friends and we all have a laugh thank goodness most of my friends are as funny and as crazy as me. I think it is more embarrassing to not admitting it and trying to wriggle out of it and as you say we all have them .
