Cat Backhoe

CAT 226 AUX. Problem?
My Dad bought a CAT 226 awhile ago and he just bought a backhoe attachment for it. This backhoe is not a approved CAT attachment so he changed the mounting and made it fit. And now he is trying the hydraulics and they only work occasionally. he has checked all of the electrical and hydraulic valves. Anyone that is a CAT or FINNING mechanic plz answer this and give me any suggestions that may help him with this problem. Thank you
oh ya…. all of the filters have been changed
you might need to get a flow meter that goes in the hydraulic line to check and see the gpm (gallons per min.) and pressure to see if it has enough for that attachment and if not that take the control valve for something in the valve it does not take something big to keep from working right
