Why are there small pin holes at the bottom of airplane windows?
Anti-icing yes, but also has to do with the opposite…condensation. It helps moderate the temperature between the 2 window panes. You’ll notice the hole doesn’t go all the way thru the window, only thru the first pane. There are usually 2 panes.
