Eclipse Engine Life with 180,000 well maintained miles?

Im ready to buy a first car. =] it looks AMAZING> it has aftermarket rims and is flawless cosmetically.

It does have 180,000 miles.

Im wondering as to how long the engines usually last before they go boom.

Its a 2.0 liter 4 cyl.

i dont really know that much about eclipses, but japanese motors in general last longer than American made ones, its the bodies that usually fall apart first because of cheaper thin sheet metal. That being said, as with any car, its not so much the miles that matter but how well the car is maintained. If you start the car and the engine sounds good without any unusual noises then the car is probably fine and could last another 50 to 100k if u take care of it.
