Do ghost shrimp and german blue rams work well?
I have a 75 gallon freshwater fish tank.
I plan on keeping
5-6 zebra danios
2-3 German blue rams
2-3 ghost shrimp
1 clown loach
1 (mid sized catfish) not sure which one yet
Do these fish work well together?
It won’t last long at all. Within a couple weeks, the shrimp will have become food for either the Rams, the Loach, or the Clown. That’s not your only problem, though. In that big a tank, you should really have a much larger school of Danios– around 20, actually. Clown Loaches are also extremely social, and keeping just one will result in a very antisocial fish– you should have 4+.
