is there a big market for a skilled tile craftsmen?
im interested in starting a tile business that brings the standards of design into the realm of fine art, and is very custom to the customers aesthetic tastes.
in your opinoin, do you think there is a market for this?? well enough fo rme to make a living that is.
please be credible, like perhaps you work professionally in tile or something or any construction, thanks.
It depends on where you live. The key is finding people with enough disposable income to afford top dollar workmanship. That means you are going to need to be near a major city with a large affluent population.
You should be looking east coast, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Chicago, or the west coast.
You will have to demonstrate a knowledge of fine art and classic tile. Try to find high end kitchen designers that will recommend you, and contractors that can sub work out to you.
